January 1st
- Date of Assessment

May 1st - Assessor mails Notice of Value (NOV) to taxpayer

June 8th - Real Property Appeals deadline

June 30th - Assessor mails Notice of Determination (NOD) to taxpayer (Adams, Boulder, Denver, Douglas & Jefferson counties typically invoke the extension and mail August 30th)

July 15th - Appeals to the County Board of Equalization must be filed.  Hearings will be scheduled throughout July. (Adams, Boulder, Denver, Douglas & Jefferson counties appeals must be filed by September 15th.  Hearings will be scheduled throughout October.)

August 5th - County Board of Equalization issues Notice of Determination (NOD) to taxpayer. (Adams, Boulder Denver, Douglas & Jefferson counties the NOD issue date is November 1st.)


Appeals to the Colorado State Board of Assessment (BAA) - must be filed within 30 days of the County Board of Equalization's decision.
